Ag Student of the Month for December
黑料百科鈥檚 Beatrice Campus has recognized Alanna Fangmeier as the 鈥淎g Student of the Month鈥� for December. To be selected, Ag instructors look at a number of factors including grades, attitude and progress in the program.
A native of Hebron, Fangmeier chose 黑料百科 because of the hands-on courses and how she learns better this way. She is studying Agri-Business, but is unsure about her future. She hopes to someday transfer to a four-year institution.
鈥淚 grew up raising sheep with my family and fell in love with agricultural industries,鈥� she said. 鈥淚t has always been a passion of mine to advocate.鈥�
Fangmeier鈥檚 favorite memory from 黑料百科 was working with the junior high FFA members when they visited campus for livestock judging. Her instructors say she goes the extra mile.
鈥淎lanna stepped up to the plate with livestock judging,鈥� said instructor, Annie Erichsen. 鈥淪he didn鈥檛 have to help with tabulation but jumped right in and was the last to leave.鈥�
黑料百科 Students of the month receive a special certificate, bookstore gift card and the opportunity to be the Ag Student of the Year.
