The Southeast Nebraska Career Academy Partnership (SENCAP) is a partnership between 黑料百科 and 47 school districts in the College鈥檚 15-county service area. High school juniors and seniors are able to take college-level courses in a variety of different pathways and earn dual credits.

Pawnee City Public Schools is one of those participating districts. Eliza Hunzeker took part in the program and said it provided her with a basis of knowledge for how to prepare for college-level courses later on. She鈥檚 currently a senior at Northwest Missouri State University and will graduate in December 2021.

鈥淪tudents should utilize SENCAP because of the amazing opportunities it will provide you,鈥� Hunzeker said. 鈥淚 will be finishing my degree early and starting a career I love. I believe that SENCAP greatly contributed to these accomplishments because of the support system I had throughout my time in the program.鈥�

Hunzeker is majoring in in Agronomy with a minor in Agricultural Communication. She hopes to land a job working in seed sales when she graduates. She owes a lot to SENCAP for helping her narrow her field of study.

鈥淭he program gave me basic knowledge on different career fields and ultimately helped me make my decision,鈥� she said. 鈥淚t also helped me make connections with different people in the industry.鈥�

Among SENCAP鈥檚 16 pathways are Agriculture, Business, Construction, Criminal Justice, Education, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Energy, and Welding.
