Login Help

What is my username?  

Visit  - enter your last name and full Social Security Number with no dashes. You will be given your 黑料百科 Username and ID#. Please note that you must add @southeast.edu to the 黑料百科 Username when logging in to the Hub. 

Temporary Password 

The FIRST time you log in, your initial password is Scc#____ (the last four digits of your social security number). Example: if the last four digits of your social security number were 1234, your temporary password would be Scc#1234 

Password Reset

For existing accounts or if the Temporary Password is not working,  with your ID# and non-黑料百科 (personal) email address that matches your 黑料百科 records. You will be sent a link to reset your password. Your new password must be 7-16 characters and contain a lower-case letter, an upper-case letter, a number, and a special character (!#$%^*). Passwords cannot contain identifying information such as your name, birth date, or 黑料百科 ID# 

Multifactor Authentication 

黑料百科 requires all users to set up a secondary method to verify your identity. You can use the Microsoft Authenticator app or add your phone number to text a code.  

 

Microsoft Authenticator App Guide

  1. Download and install the Microsoft Authenticator app from the App Store or Google Play store.  
  2. In the app: navigate through the screen prompts to get to the account list screen.  
  3. In the app: In the upper right corner, click on the 鈥�+鈥� icon.  
  4. In the app: Add a 鈥淲ork or School Account鈥� and select 鈥渟can a QR code鈥�. 
  5. On the computer: click next until you are provided a QR code 
  6. In the app: Scan the QR code with your phone. The 黑料百科 account will be added to your account list. 
  7. On the computer: click next until you are provided a 2 digit code 
  8. In the app: type the 2 digit code into the text box, then click yes. 
  9. On the computer: You should see confirmation that the authenticator was added and can select Done.  
  10. When complete, you will be prompted to keep account logged in. If you are using a public computer, select No. If you are using a personal computer, select Yes. 

Set up Phone for MFA Guide

  1. On the page prompting to install the Microsoft Authenticator app, instead click on 鈥淥ther Options鈥�  
  2. Select Phone, then add your phone number and choose text or call.  
  3. Once you receive the 6-digit code on your phone, enter the code on the screen and click 鈥淰erify鈥�  
  4. If you are prompted to install the Microsoft Authenticator app again, click 鈥淥ther Options鈥� again and choose a backup option for authentication, such as email, security questions, or hardware token.  
  5. When complete, you will be prompted to keep account logged in. If you are using a public computer, select No. If you are using a personal computer, select Yes.  

 

Microsoft 365 Apps Subscription

黑料百科 Students and Employees have access to Microsoft 365 apps at no charge. You can install Microsoft 365 on up to five devices.

If you already have Microsoft 365 apps installed, simply log in to the app with your 黑料百科 Hub username and password.  

To install on a Windows computer

  1. Open the download link: If you see the a Security Warning, click 鈥淎llow鈥�
  2. Click on the Install Office button to start the download.
  3. Depending on your browser, select Run (in Edge), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).
  4. If you see the User Account Control prompt that says, Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? select Yes.
  5. If you are prompted to 鈥淎llow my organization to manage my device鈥�, make sure to uncheck this option and click 鈥淥K鈥� or 鈥淵es鈥�

 

 

Student/Employee log in to MS 365 Apps

To start using the applications after installation or if they are already installed, just launch one of the Apps (MS Word Example below) and click on the account name on the top right of the screen.

  • Accept the Microsoft User license when the prompt appears
  • You are now logged in to ALL of the MS 365 Applications!

Note: Microsoft Access is not available for Apple devices. Google Chromebooks are limited to Web-Accessed versions only.

Note: you can continue to use this software on your personal devices as long as you are an active Student or Employee. Once become inactive, the functionality of this software will end and any data you have stored on OneDrive will no longer be accessible.

Installing Respondus LockDown Browser

Click here to get to the installation file:

  • Available for Windows and Mac
    • LockDown is not supported on iOS Smartphones, Android, or other mobile devices
    • LockDown Browser for Ipad information: 
  • You only need to download LockDown once per computer.  After installation, it can be used repeatedly for any quiz or exam that requires LockDown.

If you click to take quiz and it tells you to install the browser again:

    • Close the browser you are using
    • Find the LockDown Browser app
      • On Windows it should be on your desktop
      • On a Mac it should be in your app launcher/launchpad
    • Open LockDown Browser and Log in
      • Read any popup message and follow the instructions.
    • Browse to the quiz and click Take Quiz
